Share The Joy

Share The Joy!

This Holiday Season, give something more meaningful or powerful than anything that can fit into a box and tied up with a pretty bow . . .

Join local businesses, schools, churches, and families in their efforts to make giving a little easier, and a lot more meaningful, this year:

  • Albertson's Market ~ The Giving Tree. Select an ornament from The Giving Tree and present it to the cashier at check out. Your purchase makes a donation equal to a 64 oz. bottle of apple juice. Proceeds go towards the purchase of wholesome food for the hungry in our community.

Wood River Middle School ~ Blue Team Bowl Sale. Seventh Grade students at WRMS will be selling hand painted ceramic bowls at a special Art Walk on Friday December 17th from 8:30 - 10am. All proceeds benefit The Hunger Coalition. Suggested minimum purchase price is $15. GO WOLVERINES!

  • Hailey Yoga ~ Winter Sun Solstice Celebration. Tener Rogers invites you to a Magical Yoga and Live Music Experience on Sunday, December 19th from 5 - 7 pm. Celebrate the return of the sun and your own brilliant inner light while giving hope, and wholesome food, to families trying hard to make ends meet this holiday season.
  • Food Drives ~ Donate Non-Perishable Food. Food donations are an essential part of providing wholesome food to the families in our community facing hunger. You can make a huge difference in the health and well being of children and their parents during challenging times, times when they most need good nutrition.
Look for Yellow Collection Bins or Food Donation Boxes
at the following locations this holiday season: The Community School, Wood River YMCA, St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church, Power Engineers, and Wood River Fire & Rescue.

We invite you to Share The Joy this holiday season ~ Give.
